LEWISTON – Jeffrey Royal Campbell, Sr., 72, a resident of Livermore Falls, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 26, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.
He was born January 13, 1945 in Lewiston, the son of Guy Campbell and Irene (Billings) Campbell. He was a 1964 graduate of Lewiston High School. On July 22, 1995 in Bath, he married Betty (Pepin) Smith. He worked construction through the years for various construction, predominantly for Joe Pinette in Lewiston. He later worked as a custodian for L.L.Bean in Freeport. He was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Livermore Falls.
He was survived by his wife Betty Campbell in Livermore Falls; his sons, Craig Campbell of Portland and Jeff Campbell Jr. of Lewiston; his daughter, Susan Atwood and her husband Steve of Wales; a stepson, Kirk Smith and his companion Beth Mack of Jay; a stepdaughter, Keri Smith of Lewiston; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brothers, David Campbell and his and his wife Miriam of Anniston, Ala., John Campbell and his wife Anita of Harrison, and Gary Campbell and his wife Maureen of Lewiston.
