PORTLAND — Ralph A. DeRocco, 73, of Canton, passed away Monday, Oct. 2, at Maine Medical Center, following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Norway on May 16, 1944, to Thelma Eunice Perkins and later adopted by Arthur DeRocco. He was enlisted during the Vietnam War and served on the USS Topeka. He married the love of his life, Irene Deforge.
He is survived by his stepdaughters, Amy Lauze, Tammy Carpenter and her husband, John, and Penny Lacasse. He also will be missed by his grandchildren, Sam, Abigail, Zach, Sarah, Amber and Gabriel.
He was predeceased by his wife, Irene, and brother Dennis.
