LEWISTON — Mozart G. Bouchard, 80, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Oct. 3, at his home in Lewiston. He was born in Lewiston on Nov. 19, 1936, the son of the late Magloire and Jeanne d’Arc (Galarneau) Bouchard.
Mozart graduated from Lewiston High School in 1955. He worked in local mills and shoe factories and prided himself on being a hard worker. In 1971 he married the love of his life, Constance (Benoit), and they shared a loving marriage of over 35 years until her passing in 2006. After his marriage, he moved to Long Beach, Calif., and stayed there for 15 years before moving back home. In California, he was a group leader for Industrial Products. After moving home, he purchased Richard’s Pizza and Variety and owned and operated that for about nine years. He also worked for Walmart doing custodial work until his retirement in 2013. Mozart enjoyed his pets, classic movies, sports and his family.
Mozart is survived by his daughter, Michelle Bouchard, and husband, Shawn Higgs of Lewiston; his three grandchildren, Jericho, Olivia and Jacob; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; his wife; and his sister, Rachel Perkins.
