LEWISTON — Some tickets remain available for Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice’s 14th annual Autumn Night Out slated for Friday, Oct. 20, at the Poland Spring Resort, Poland Spring.

The festivities will begin at 5 p.m., when attendees can have hors d’oeuvres and bid on a variety of silent auction items. Dinner will be followed by a live auction led by Maine humorist Gary Crocker and Norm Karkos will serve as the evening’s Master of Ceremonies.

Items up for bid include a Gulf of Maine tuna fishing expedition, a hot air balloon ride over Napa Valley Vineyards, in-home dining prepared by Hell’s Kitchen participant/celebrity chef Heidi Parent and a brewer-for-a-day experience at Baxter Brewing Co.

New this year is dancing to the Larry Williams Band and a board game theme, with special events planned throughout the night. All proceeds will benefit patient and family support in the hospice program.

“As an agency that is committed to not turning away a patient who has an inability to pay for services, events like Autumn Night Out are critical to our ability to meet these patients’ needs,” said Kenneth Albert, president and CEO of AHCH.

Tickets are $65 a person, and should be purchased soon.
