If asked to name one of the most respected and respectful members of the Edward Little High School staff in recent years, the unanimous answer would be Pat Gautier. Her integrity, her knowledge and her dedication to the Auburn school system and its students is well known.
Recently retired, Gautier was not only the librarian at ELHS but also the trusted go-to person to chair important committees, such as NEASC re-accreditation. She also worked on the initial ELHS Building Committees, gathering information and attending through a decade of meetings,
She is respected because she is respectful; respectful of ideas and solutions, respectful of facts, respectful of other peoples’ viewpoints. She does her homework and is always accessible to discuss details.
Pat Gautier is a candidate for one of the at-large seats on the Auburn School Committee. Auburn needs to honor someone who is respected and respectful with their vote on Nov. 7.
