Central Maine Medical Center presented its most recent Sunshine Award to Melissa Mathon. The award recognizes the extraordinary skills and compassionate care given by technical support staff. Recipients demonstrate compassion, patient- and family-focused care, passion about life, patient advocacy and support of all health care team members. Co-workers describe Mathon as dedicated, extremely hardworking and professional. She often goes above and beyond for patients in her care and does anything she is asked to do without hesitation.
