Having been a resident of the Lewiston area for the past several decades, I have participated and voted in those past elections. It is seldom that such a fine individual as Mark Cayer has been a candidate for the office of mayor of Lewiston.
Cayer’s vast experience has admirably represented Lewiston’s Ward 6. In addition to being the city council’s president for two terms, he has served on several of the city’s boards and commissions. There is no other candidate now on the slate of candidates for mayor who can match or exceed Cayer’s vast city experience and enthusiasm for guiding Lewiston’s future.
Lewiston would benefit from his unique experience, which would lead the city into the future with his initiatives to address and promote those issues now facing Lewiston.
I hope others will join me in voting for candidate Mark Cayer for mayor on Nov. 7.
