Food Mobile visiting Kingfield
KINGFIELD — Good Shepherd Food Bank’s Food Mobile will distribute food, including fresh produce, meat and nonperishable items to people in need in the greater Kingfield region from 10:30 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Oct. 17, at Franklin Somerset Federal Credit Union, 476 Main St.
Anyone in need of emergency food assistance in Kingfield and surrounding towns is welcome to attend.
The distribution has been made possible through the Doree Taylor Foundation.

Eagles to see documentary
RUMFORD — The Rumford Eagles Club will screen “Where to Invade Next,” a Michael Moore movie, t 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19.
Country jamboree in Dixfield
DIXFIELD — The Dixfield American Legion Auxiliary will host a country jamboree from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22.
There will be live performers and concessions. Cost to attend is $5.
Church seeks donations for auction
NORWAY — Members and friends of the Second Congregational Church, UCC, are planning the annual ticket auction on Saturday, Nov. 4.
Donations are welcome. Items can be dropped off at the church, 205 Main St., from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday through Friday or arrangements can be made by contaciting the church.
Proceeds will benefit the missions and community outreach programs of the church.
