AUBURN — Glendon H. Spiller, 89, of Lewiston, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 14, at the Hospice House.
He was born in Mechanic Falls on July 12, 1928, the son of Bernard and Harriett Keene Spiller. He was educated in Mechanic Falls schools and served in the U.S. Army. Glendon married Roberta Beers on Nov. 22, 1969.
He had been employed at C.B. Cummings before working in the environmental department at Central Maine Medical Center. He was a member of the Odd Fellows and the Liberty Rebekah Lodge. He enjoyed volunteering his time at Central Maine Medical Center.
He is survived by brothers, Cheston Spiller and his companion, Linda of Norway and Bernard Leighton and his wife, Rachael of Las Vegas, Nev.; a brother-in-law, David Beers and his wife, Shirley of Florida; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; brothers, Willard A., Carleton H. and Rodney; and his wife, Roberta, in 2005.
