Bridgton Hospital presented its most recent Sunshine Award to Stacey Desjardins, the hospital’s nighttime radiology technician. The Sunshine Award rewards and celebrates the extraordinary skills and compassionate care given by technical support staff. Desjardins was nominated for her willingness to help wherever she is needed and going above and beyond as a hospital team member. Her motivation has led her to become certified in CT and X-ray, as well as training in mammography to ensure she can help out in all areas of her specialty. In addition to her imaging duties, she volunteers to clean rooms and help out in the Emergency Department.
