DEAR SUN SPOTS: Do you know anyone local who refinishes or reglazes bathtubs? I’m not interested in products installed over the existing tub, like Bath Fitter, but rather a specialist who applies a new finish to the existing surface. DEAR SUN SPOTS: I need to replace the diesel fuel injector pump in my 1989 Club Cadet Tractor 7000, Model No. 7532. I found out that the part is no longer available and I need to have mine rebuilt. DEAR SUN SPOTS: I never miss your column. I have gotten many good tips and now need some help. Is there any place in Lewiston-Auburn that has round exhaust covers for a round fan in the wall by my stove? They are made of metal mesh. All I can find are square ones.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: I have a very big request. Over the years, I have made historic dolls depicting the fashions from 1910-1990. They aren’t playthings. Some of the fabric used is from dresses from the period they portray. I also have used the Holly Hobby pattern and created many other dolls, including bicentennial dolls and a Samantha Smith doll wearing the pretty dress she received in Russia. I have also made many cardboard dollhouses and have written stories about them. I’m looking for a new home for all these so others can enjoy them, such as a doll museum. Thank you for your help.

ANSWER: I haven’t been able to turn up a doll museum here in Maine but perhaps a historical society or local library would be willing to consider displaying your dolls and houses. If you haven’t already, you may want to take good photographs of everything and send them with a letter to organizations.
