I am writing in support of Shane Bouchard for mayor of Lewiston.
Unlike some politicians who tell people what they want to hear, then do something else, Bouchard is honest, truthful and trustworthy. He understands and believes in the people of Lewiston and will represent them well. He won’t run away from difficult challenges, but will be up front doing the research and working hard with others to help to find sensible solutions.
He firmly opposes the Lewiston-Auburn merger, but has vowed to support the will of the voters, regardless of the outcome. He believes in representing the entire city — not just a few high profile elites or squeaky wheels from the “in” crowd.
I hope others will join me in voting for Shane Bouchard as the next mayor of Lewiston. I’ve seen his excellent work on the city council and know he is the right choice for Lewiston.
