WESTBROOK — Nancy L. Tardif, 75, formerly of Oxford, died Saturday, Oct. 21, at Springbrook Center in Westbrook in her sleep.

She was born in Lewiston, March 7, 1942, daughter of Lionel and Evelyn Nadeau. She graduated from Edward Little High School in 1959. She married the late Jerry Pownall and they made their home in Lewiston and began a family. Many years later she married the late Leonardis Tardif Sr. and made their home in Turner.

Her greatest joy was her family. She also loved concerts in the park and other local events. She and Leo were members of the ACME Snowshoe Club and loved to travel.

Survivors include three sons, Alfred, Michael and Rodney Pownall and three granddaughters Deanna, Ashely and Melinda, and four great-grandchildren, Tyler and Deannaca Wiggins-Pownall, Morgan and Adrian Cook; three brothers, David, Donald and Bruce and five sisters, Pamela, Lorna, Patricia, Susan and Debbie; and four stepsons, Alfred, Leonardis Jr., Shawn and Clifton Tardif. She was predeceased by one brother, Paul Nadeau and Christine Smith.
