I am writing in support of Tom Shannon, candidate for Lewiston City Council from Ward 7.
I have known Shannon for several years and served on the school committee with him and other committees, such as the new Connors School Building Committee.
Shannon has worked for the city of Lewiston for more than 25 years, both on the Lewiston School Committee and as a Lewiston representative in Augusta. He has knowledge of the workings of Lewiston government and the education system of the state and the Lewiston School Department.
When I had a question about finances on the school committee, he could always answer me, and his knowledge helped me decide an issue.
I hope residents of Ward 7 will vote for Tom Shannon for the city council. He listens to the people.
