As the president of Associated Builders and Contractors of Maine and a resident of New Gloucester, I am disappointed to see the good name of an industry colleague and friend being challenged. Accepting the bid of Ganneston Construction for the new public works building was a smart choice for New Gloucester. Under Stacey Morrison’s leadership, the company has done work throughout the state of Maine and is trusted with projects that range from building new courthouses to renovating schools to the construction of industrial buildings.
Construction projects overall are beneficial to communities, as they offer a boost to the economy and, in this case, the project will provide an improvement and modernization to the facilities of an important town department.
I have complete confidence in Morrison and Ganneston Construction, and I am looking forward to having them bring their experience and outstanding work ethic to New Gloucester.
