SKOWHEGAN — At the 144th annual session of the Maine State Grange held recently, Hugh and Grace Keene were presented the Educator of the Year Award by Maine State Grange Community Service Director Christine Corliss.
Well known members of the community, they were nominated for this award by Danville Junction Grange.
Both have been involved in education for the last 61 years, first as teachers at Edward Little High School and now involved with Senior College.
This couple have devoted their lives to education and their dedication and commitment has made them most deserving of this award, according to the Grange.
Grace and Hugh Keene are the recipients of the Maine State Grange’s Educator of the Year Award.
