A Veterans Day ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 10, in the Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School auditorium. Anderson Staples Post 112, American Legion, will present the program. A highlight will be the Oxford Fire and Police departments folding the American Flag with an explanation of what each fold means. The school band will be present, as well as Girl and Boy Scouts. Sen. Jim Hamper will address the gathering, and the Legion family will present a POW/MIA ceremony. Groups that would like to present their colors are asked to be there by 9:30.
