PARIS — Henry H. Bouchard, 83, of South Paris, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Monday, Nov. 6.
Henry was born on May 1, 1934, in Nashua, N.H., to Alfred E. Bouchard and Emilia Derocher Bouchard. He attended school in Nashua, N.H., Hartford, Conn., and the University of New Hampshire. He served in the United States Army and received his paratrooper wings from the 503d Airborne at Fort Campbell, Ky.
Henry married the love of his life, Sharon Kilgore Bouchard, on Feb. 14, 1970. They made their home in South Paris for many years.
Henry was an avid gardener before he was disabled by a stroke. Many people would stop by his garden to admire the large assortment of flowers. The greatest joy for Henry was spending time with his family, especially his grandsons.
As well as his wife, Henry is survived by his daughters, Zendelle Bouchard and husband, David Rude of Sanford, Renee Wales and husband, Jay of Norway; grandsons, Reese and Elijah Wales, Norway and Tristan Kilgore, Oxford. Stepson, Doug Kilgore of Norway; brothers, David and Alfred Bouchard; and sisters, Jacqueline Hickman and Clair Hinch.
He was predeceased by his parents; son, Colin Bouchard; brothers, Bertrand and Victor Bouchard; and sister, Vivianne Jenkins; and special grandson, Corey Dan.
