WEST PARIS — Dennis V. Poland, 67, of Curtis Hill Road, Woodstock, died in West Paris on Wednesday, Nov. 8. Dennis was born in Norway on Feb. 17, 1950, the son of the late Vernon W. and Thomasina Chandler Poland and was educated in local schools. Dennis had served his country in the U.S. Navy and had been a self-employed truck driver all of his life. He married Debra Allen on May 17, 1980.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years; two children, Heath and Torrey Poland and Brandy and Patrick Moore; four grandchildren, Caden, Madeline, Ollie and Thomas; four sisters, Judi and David Brown, Sandra Monzo and Dan Palmer, Sherry and Dee Beck-Poland and Tracy Poland; as well as many nieces and nephews. Dennis was predeceased by his parents.
