Four students graduated from the recent certified nursing assistant class at Vocational Region 9 Adult Education in Rumford. Taught by Deb Shurtleff, RN, the class received instruction in basic care and medical terminology and participated in clinical rotations at Rumford Community Home, Pinnacle and Rumford Hospital. Completing the course were Melissa Bean, Samantha Bumby, C.J. Fish and Luanne Hebert. Another class will start in February, with orientation at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23.
