BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — Glorianne Laneuville, 79, of Shelton, Conn., entered into rest Wednesday, Nov. 22, at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport, Conn., with her loving family by her side. She was the devoted wife of 57 years to Gerard P. Laneuville, who predeceased her in 2016. Glorianne was formerly of Lewiston, daughter of the late Armand and Beatrice (Parente) Bernard.

She graduated from Lewiston High School and moved to Connecticut in 1964, where she worked for SNET for many years. She volunteered her time for years at Griffin Hospital and was also very active at St. Margaret Mary Church, where she taught CCD and volunteered at food festivals and Christmas fairs. She also loved to travel and enjoyed her trips to California, Europe, the Canadian Rockies and on many cruises to wonderful places. She found her greatest joy spending time with her family.

She deeply loved her family: daughter Diane Laneuville; son Michael Laneuville and his wife, Nancy; daughter Sonia Bernacki; and daughter Denice Pelaggi and her husband, Edward. She leaves seven cherished grandchildren, Jennifer, Rebecca, Gary Jr., Joshua, Randy, Megan and Sara; and five great-grandsons, Nathan, Gabriel, Logan, Jonathan and Joshua. She has two brothers, Richard Bernard and wife, Patricia and Marcel Larry Bernard of Maine. She was predeceased by her grandson, Brian Laneuville.
