The second annual Crock Pot Challenge will be held this Sunday, Dec. 17, from 5-7 p.m. in the Orono High School cafeteria.
The Crock Pot Challenge is a fundraiser to benefit both the OHS Class of 2018 Project Graduation and the Crossroads Ministries Food Pantry in Old Town. Do you have a favorite crock pot recipe to enter in the challenge? Or do you just want to sample more than 20 crock pot recipes? Either way, this is a fun event for a good cause.
There is no charge to enter the challenge, and those who do so will be able to smaple all the contest crock pots. If you just want to sample the crock pots, admission is $6 with bowls and spoons provided; bring your own bowl, and the admission charge is only $5. Eother way, you’ll have the chance to vote for your favorite crock pot dish. Prizes will be awarded for best savory and best sweet.
There also will be two basket raffles. One will include gift cards and services for many local businesses and restaurants, while the second will contain a collection of LuLaRoe items valued at more than $350.
To enter the challenge, buy raffle tickets, or for more information, contact Erika Dixon at [email protected].
