LIVERMORE FALLS — Treat Memorial Library has plenty to keep readers busy in 2018. January activities are as follow:
The Book Group will meet at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, to discuss “Garden Spells” by Sarah Addison Allen. The book, a tale of two sisters who are heirs to a magical legacy, is the latest in the Family Ties and Tales series. Contact the library for a copy of “Garden Spells” and to join the group.
Preschool Story Time is held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesdays and features stories, songs and activities as well as a craft the child can make and take home.
LEGO Club will meet at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 20. Everything participants build is displayed until the next month’s meeting. Build something based on this month’s challenge or something else.
The knit/crochet group will meet at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23. Whether anyone has questions about knitting or crocheting or just want to knit or crochet, they are welcome.
The used book store is open and the library takes donations for the books purchased.
The library will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 2, in observance of New Year’s Day, and Tuesday, Jan. 16, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
