An Auburn firefighter helps change her colleague’s air tank at 760 West Auburn Road in Auburn on Monday. Firefighters responded to smoke coming from the first floor of a barn attached to the owner’s home. Damage was contained to the first floor and basement of the barn, Battalion Chief David Richard said. Lewiston Fire Department assisted with manpower and surrounding towns hauled water to the scene.
