LEWISTON — YWCA Central Maine will offer its second annual Galentine’s Day gift basket delivery service on Tuesday, Feb. 13. Galentine’s Day is a holiday recognizing the importance of female friendship and takes place the day before Valentine’s Day.
On Galentine’s Day, the YWCA invites the community to celebrate the important women in life with a gift basket containing homemade and specialty items, available in three varieties: Chocolate Lover’s, Spa and Coffee Lover’s.
YWCA staff members will personally deliver baskets to recipients at their homes or work places anywhere in Lewiston or Auburn between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Feb. 13.
Gift basket orders forms are available on the YWCA Central Maine website, ywcamaine.org, or they can be placed by calling the YWCA at 207-795-4050. Orders must be placed by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9. Galentine’s Day gift baskets are $35 each, and all proceeds benefit the YWCA’s work to empower women and girls.
