PITTSFIELD — Collette Lorraine Arsenault, 87, formerly of Rumford, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 20, in her home with her family by her side.

She was born on January 9, 1931 in Berlin, N.H., the daughter of Roger St. Hilaire and Emelda Montminy St. Hilaire.

Collette graduated from Stephens High School. She went to work at an early age in the hospital doing meal trays. She was later employed at J.J Newberrys, A&P grocery store in Rumford, and Sampson’s supermarket in Mexico.

She loved her family, taking care of the grandchildren and visiting them often.

Collette was helped and taken care of by four wonderful ladies. The family will always be grateful for their care.

She was a member of the Snowshoe Club in Rumford, where they went to dance, which she loved to do and had missed. She also loved her “Little Honey.”
