LEWISTON — Southbound traffic on the Maine Turnpike was closed for an hour early Tuesday morning following a crash near the Lewiston interchange at Mile 80 involving multiple tractor-trailers.
The trucks were blocking both southbound lanes of the turnpike just south of the Lewiston exit following the 1 a.m. accident.
Southbound traffic was forced to exit the Turnpike at Exit 80.
The scene was cleared and traffic re-opened an hour later.
There were no reports of injuries.
