CANTON — Constance Jean Fullerton, 72, a resident of Livermore Falls, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Jan. 24, at Pinnacle Rehabilitation Center in Canton, with her loving family by her side, following a long struggle with Alzheimer’s. She was born Jan. 10, 1946, in Livermore Falls, the daughter of Francis Pike and Dorothy (Corey) Pike Mitchell.

She was a 1964 graduate of Livermore Falls High School, where she performed in musicals and played clarinet in the school band. Following graduation she went to Bernard’s School of Hair Fashion in Lewiston. She worked for Eileen’s Hair Salon in Livermore Falls and later as a home interior demonstrator. On Dec. 12, 1992, at the home of Dale and Carol Pike in Auburn, she married her husband of 25 years, Charles H. Fullerton.

Connie was devoted to her family and her faith. She was a member of the Wayside Bible Baptist Church in Livermore, volunteered at the Wayside Christian School; she loved music and also sang in the choir and was an extraordinary pianist, playing beautiful concertos. She enjoyed crafts, counted cross-stitch and home decorating. Connie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and cherished the times with her beloved grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Charles “Chuck” Fullerton, of Livermore Falls; her daughter, Heidi Emery, and husband, Don Emery, of Livermore Falls; sons, Steven Labbe and wife, Teri, of Maryland, Peter Labbe, of North Jay and Travis Mercier, of Portland; five grandchildren, Dorothy Emery, Grayson, Luke, Christopher and Megan Labbe; sisters, Maggie Houlihan and husband, Michael, of Jay, and Lorraine Boynton, of St. Cloud, Fla.; brothers, Don Pike and wife, Hanne, of Arizona, David Pike and wife, Verna, of Farmington, Dale Pike and wife, Carol, of Newmarket, N.H., Larry Pike, of Seattle, Wash., and Bob Pike and wife, Janice “Skip,” of Strong; and her stepbrother, Frank Mitchell, and wife, Ruth, of Belgrade. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister Shirley Pike.
