Lasell College
NEWTON, MA – Lasell College has announced students named to the fall 2017 Dean’s List. Students with this accomplishment are full-time degree candidates who completed 12 or more credits in the fall semester, with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. This semester’s Dean’s List encompasses students from all class years and over 30 majors, including 157 members of the school’s freshman class. Honored locally was Daphne Wallace-Murphy of Orono, Fashion Design and Production, Class of 2021.
University of New Hampshire’s Dean’s List
DURHAM, NH – The following local students have been named to the Dean’s List at the University of New Hampshire for the fall 2017 semester. Angelyn Masters of Veazie; with High Honors; Liam Kenefic of Orono, with Highest Honors. Students named to the Dean’s List at the University of New Hampshire are students who have earned recognition through their superior scholastic performance during a semester enrolled in a full-time course load (12 or more graded credits). Highest honors are awarded to students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.85 or better out of a possible 4.0. Students with a 3.65 to 3.84 average are awarded high honors.
Worcester Polytechnic Institute
WORCESTER, MA (01/19/2018)– The following local resident was among 1,608 students from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) named to the university’s Dean’s List for academic excellence for the fall 2017 semester: Aiden Crane of Orono, a member of the class of 2021 majoring in chemical engineering.
University of Rhode Island
KINGSTON, RI – The University of Rhode Island has announced that 5,500 undergraduates have qualified for the fall 2017 Dean’s List. The students represent nearly all of Rhode Island’s cities and towns, all six New England states, New York and New Jersey, and many other states and nations.
To be included on the Dean’s List, students must have completed 12 or more credits during a semester for letter grades with at least a 3.30 quality point average. Part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 credits with a 3.30 quality point average. The list includes students who have not yet declared their majors as well as those from all of the University’s undergraduate academic colleges.
On the list locally are Emily Hussey, of Alton, and Alexis Stanhope, of Veazie.
