PARIS — The board of directors for the Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce recently released the 2018 award winners for: Business of the Year, Rising Star of the Year, Employee of the Year and Community Service. Nominations are submitted by business and community members as well as board members.

Business of the Year: Flanders Electric of Norway. According to former owner Leslie Flanders, the business is the “largest electrical contractor in Oxford County.”

Rising Star of the Year: Tilton’s Market of Buckfield. Sandra Fickett took over the business in 2014 and has increased the number of staff as well as products offered.

Employee of the Year: Katie Letourneau of Norway Savings Bank. Letourneau serves on several committees at the bank and is a board member of the Norway Downtown organization.

Community Service Award: Amanda and Aaron Ouellette, owners of Daddy O’s Diner in Oxford. The Ouellettes regularly host monthly community dinners at their restaurant and a free Thanksgiving dinner each year. Last year’s dinner donations went to the town’s heating assistance program.
