I read in the newspaper Jan. 26 that the Trumps wanted to borrow a van Gogh painting from a New York museum. With all the money the Trumps have, why not support a struggling artist and pay for a painting? Then, when they return to their own world, they could keep the painting, take it along or donate it.
I was amused that, instead of a painting, the museum offered an 18-karat gold toilet, titled “America.” I wonder if that was because President Trump called some nations in Africa “****hole countries.”
Here in Maine, teachers complain how young children use foul words. Question — did the president go to school, high school or college?
I had only eight years of schooling in Germany, but I have no need to show how dumb I am.
