A tractor-trailer was operating too fast for conditions Thursday when it jackknifed on Town Farm Road in Farmington, according to Farmington officer Jesse Clement. The truck, driven by Lewis Phillips, 64, of Wilton, struck a car driven by Laurie-Anne Targett-Brown, 56, of Strong, causing minor damage to her vehicle. There were no injuries. The tractor-trailer is owned by EJ Carrier Inc. of Jackman. (Donna M. Perry, Sun Journal)
