LEWISTON — Award winning photographer Jim Walker has accepted the position of executive secretary for the Professional Photographers Association of New England.
His new responsibilities include accounting functions, membership and registering members for workshops. He also coordinates and tracks enrollment in the New England Institute of Professional Photograph — a weeklong school with classes in April of every year. Sessions are held with top professional photographers in various aspects of the profession.
Walker is also on the board of directors for the Maine Professional Photographers Association and is active in the national organization, Professional Photographers of America, having recently volunteered at their national convention in Nashville, Tennessee, ImagingUSA 2018.
His photography studio is at 145 Lisbon St., Suite 604.
