AUBURN — The Maine Writers & Publishers Alliance (MWPA) has announced an upcoming workshop on writing a memoir at the Auburn Public Library.
On Saturday, March 3, Patricia O’Donnell, a professor of creative writing at the University of Maine in Farmington, where she directs the BFA program, will teach “Finding the Story Amid the Pieces,” a workshop focused on shaping memories into the narrative of a memoir or personal essay. The workshop will run from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The MWPA will offer two full scholarships for the workshop; one is intended for an Auburn Public Library patron. Advance registration is required to attend.
