BETHEL — Nomination papers for School Administrative District 44 at-large candidates are available at the central office or any town office in the district.
Vacancies are: two seats in Bethel; two seats in Greenwood; one seat in Newry; and one seat in Woodstock. All at-large terms are for three years.
All nomination papers must be delivered to the registrar of voters in each of the municipalities, where signatures have been collected, by 2 p.m. Thursday, March 15, for certification.
All certified nomination papers must be delivered to the SAD 44 Central Office, One Parkway, Suite 204, in Bethel, by 4 p.m. Friday, March 23.
Candidates are responsible for collecting certified nomination papers from the registrar of voters and delivering them to SAD 44’s Central Office by the deadline.
Election Day is Tuesday, June 12. All voters may vote in their town for all vacant at-large seats, regardless of the residency requirement for each vacant seat.
