HOLLYWOOD, Fla. — Julius Wise, 87, of Hallandale Beach, Fla., passed away Wednesday, Feb 7, after suffering the loss of his beloved wife, Betty, on Jan 17. Julius died three weeks after Betty from a broken heart after 64 years of marriage.

He was born in Lewiston, Feb. 15, 1930, the son of Sam and Sarah Wise. He was an Army veteran and was former owner of Wise Pawn Shops in Lewiston, Portland, Brunswick, Bath and Bangor.

He is survived by his daughter, Laura Wise Raben; sisters, Rose Novick and Gwen and Jack Deiber; grandchildren, Jenna, Scott and Melissa Wise, Jessica and Evan Datry, Tyler and Stephanie Raben; great-grandchildren, Harper and Teagan Wise and Madison and Jordan Datry.
