PORTLAND — Carmen R Parks, 76, of Saco, passed away peacefully at Maine Medical Center on Wednesday, Feb. 14.
She was born May 17, 1941, in Lewiston, to Roland and Irene (Dulac) Roux.
She graduated from St. Dominic High School in 1959, and married Elliot Parks in 1965. They lived in Portland for several years before moving to Saco.
Carmen was a champion bowler and always enjoyed competitive games. She loved playing cards and dominos with the family, and enjoyed trips to the casino with her friends.
She spent over 20 years working for Sweetser in the development office, and she especially enjoyed working on the annual fundraising auction and golf tournament.
She was predeceased by her husband; her brothers; and her parents.
She is survived by her son, David J. Parks, and his wife, Jennifer Parks; her son, Scott E. Parks, and his wife, Susan Parks; and grandchildren, Joshua Parks, Nicholas Parks and Benjamin Parks.
