I am very excited about the prospect of state Treasurer Terry Hayes becoming Maine’s next governor. I believe she is exactly the person that Maine needs in that office.
Our friendship began as school board members. From my first meeting, Hayes impressed me with her abilities to succinctly ask exactly the questions that needed asking. Additionally, she was always well prepared and never shrank from difficult tasks.
She has proven, through her terms as a representative and as an independent candidate for treasurer, that she is committed to doing her best for her constituents. She is running as a Clean Elections candidate for governor because she is committed to getting big money out of politics.
I hope others will join me in supporting Terry Hayes for governor of Maine.
