LEWISTON — Anna Vitiello, 89, of Lewiston, passed away peacefully Feb. 14 at d’Youville Pavilion.
She was born in Camden on Feb. 9, 1929, to Antonino and Giovanna Sparta. Anna graduated from Bates College and was a longtime resident of Lewiston.
She was a teacher at Lewiston High School before retiring in 1986. An avid bridge player, she also enjoyed playing cribbage and bingo.
She is survived by her son, Vincent Vitiello, and his wife, Cecilia Tsao; her three grandchildren: Sofia, Vincenzo and Rosanna Vitiello; her niece and nephew, Jane Wagner and Ken Sparta, and their families.
