LEWISTON — Myra Mae Yenco, 98, began her everlasting life with our Lord on Feb. 20.
She was born Myra Mae Smart, Sept. 26, 1919, in Seboeis Plantation. Myra married Michael Yenco in May 1941. Although Uncle Mike and Aunt Myra did not have children of their own, they shared unlimited love with all of their many nieces and nephews. They enjoyed their life together at their “Last Gasp Farm” on the West Road in Bowdoin.
Myra is survived by her sister-in-law, Dorothy McKay, and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Yenco; her sister and brother-in-law, Madelyn and Peter Maguire; her brother, John McKay, and his wife, Alice; and a brother, Bruce McKay. An older brother died before she was born.
Friends and family are invited to share their memories and offer their condolences by visiting Myra’s online guest book at www.crosmanfuneralhome.com.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Russell Park and Beacon Hospice for the special care and attention given to Myra.
