AUBURN — The Auburn Public Library has announced teen activities for March.

Maine Job Corps: Information on the Job Corps will be provided for teens and new adults, age 16 to 24, who are interested. Contact Cathie Gavett of the Maine Job Corps at 207-458-5369 to find out more. She will arrange a mutually convenient time to meet at the Auburn Public Library.

CREATE! Media Lab Open House: From 4 to 5 p.m. Monday, March 5, to kick off Teen Tech Week. Three computers will each offer a different activity. The program is for teens age 12 to 18.

Intro to 3-D Printing: From 4 to 5 p.m. Thursday, March 8, CREATE! Media Lab. Get an introduction to the 3-D printer, an open source website from which to choose items to print and SketchUp, to design an item to print. For teens age 12 to 18.

Teens! Library Advisory Board: From 2:15 to 3:10 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, Edward Little High School Library; 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, APL Teen Space. The board (LAB) is a joint venture between the Auburn Public Library and the library at Edward Little High School. Its mission is to create more awareness of and collaboration between both libraries, promoting everything the libraries offer to the teens in the community. The LAB meets biweekly, alternating meetings between the Auburn Public Library and Edward Little. Teens interested in joining should be age 12 to 18, interested in community involvement and a lover of the library. (Students do not have to attend EL.) FMI: Ms. McCurdy at EL or Donna at APL.

Tweens in the Teen Space: From noon to 2 p.m. Wednesdays, March 7, 21 and 28, Teen Space. Sixth-graders are invited to the Teen Space on half-day Wednesdays. There will be crafts or board games or get a head start on homework.

Teen Anime Club: From 4 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, Androscoggin Community Room. Ages 12 to 18, can drop in to talk about their favorite (or least favorite) manga, watch the week’s selection of anime and try drawing their own characters. Snacks will be provided.

Teens! Homework Help: From 2:30 to 4 p.m. Thursdays, March 8, 15, 22 and 29, Study Room. Get help with time management, schedule planning, goal setting and learn how to be successful with homework. For teens in grades seven to 12 and will include a healthy snack.

SAPARS Drop-In Visit: From 3 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, Teen Space. Julia, an advocate from Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Services, will meet with teens to discuss the issues important to them, including consent, bullying, sexual assault and harassment, bystander intervention and internet safety. Visits may include question and answer, educational videos or activities. Teens age 12 to 18 are welcome. It will include a snack.

Teen Life Skills Series 2018, Applying for a Job: From 4 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, Study Room. They will talk about how to look and apply for jobs, complete a generic job application and look at how to craft a resume. For teens and new adults age 15 to 19, on the second floor.

The Job Interview: From 4 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, Study Room. The program will continue the theme of employment, focusing on the job interview. For teens and new adults age 15 to 19, on the second floor.

Teens! Gaming Hour: From 4 to 5 p.m. Wednesdays, March 14 and 28, Androscoggin Community Room. Video games and snacks for age 12 to 18.

Safe Voices Drop-In Visit: From 3 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, Teen Space. Whitney will visit to chat about relationships and work on projects. For teens age 12 to 18.

Teens! DIY Takeover: Mug Cakes: From 4 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, Androscoggin Community Room, do-it-yourself craft, Mug Cakes. Registration is requested; visit the Events page on the website or call. Those who have preregistered will get priority.

Library hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
