PARIS — A Certified Residential Medication Aid course will be offered through Oxford Hills/Nezinscot Adult Education Program at Market Square Health Care in South Paris. The class is scheduled to begin Wednesday, March 28, and run for eight weeks. Class dates and times subject to change.
The course follows the CRMA standardized design as provided by the state of Maine, Division of Licensing and Regulatory Services and Community Service Programs. The curriculum requires 35-40 hours of classroom time as well as a clinical component under the supervision of an RN instructor.
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will obtain a certificate from the state and be certified to provide medication administration in the residential setting. Recertification is required every two years.
