OXFORD, Pa. — Our beloved mother, mother-in-law and mémère passed peacefully on Wednesday, Feb. 21, at 94 years of age. She was the daughter of Louis and Yvonne Dumais. Jeanne was educated at Ste. Mary’s School and studied with the Ursuline nuns at Mount Morrisey. She was employed by Clark Shoe for many years and Connie’s Catering. Jeanne was an active member in the parish council community at Ste. Mary’s Church, the Women of Ste. Anne’s and taught religious education for 17 years.
Jeanne is survived by her sons, Marc and his wife, Susan, and Denis and wife, Lisa; daughter, Lise and husband, Bill; sisters, Anita and Laurette, and brother, Louis; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Lucien; sister, Rita; and brother, Gerard.
Jeanne will be remembered by her kind spirit, loving nature and her love of God and family.
