BUCKFIELD — Kim’s journey began on June 28, 1965, in Holyoke, Mass. Her journey ended Thursday, March 8, when she went to be with the Lord following a courageous four-year battle with cancer.

Kim graduated from East Hampton High School in 1983, and moved to Maine a few years later. She met the love of her life, George, and they married on Sept. 22, 1990. Kim was a devoted and exceptional wife, but an even more amazing mother to Nathan, Milan and Dylan, and grandmother to Gabriel. Kim loved bargain hunting with her mom, camping at Sebago Lake, cooking and most of all spending time with her family and friends. Her family was her true life’s work. She most recently worked for 14 years at TD Bank in the Bates Mill complex. She had great co-workers who became great friends over the years. Kim will always be remembered as selfless, kind and soft-hearted.

Kim is survived by her husband, George, of Buckfield; her sons, Nathan Perkins of Lewiston, Milan Bickford of Sabattus and Dylan Bickford of Buckfield; and her grandson, Gabriel Bickford of Sabattus. Kim is also survived by her mother, Judith A. Bolduc, and stepfather, Richard, of Lewiston; her father, Russell D. Perkins, and stepmother, Wendy, of Plainville, Conn.; her sister, Lori Perkins of Bonita Springs, Fla.; and her niece, Katie Fisher, of Lewiston.

Kim was predeceased by her aunt, Patricia Olesak, and her uncle, Scott Walker.
