FARMINGTON — The Franklin County Pets of the Week for March 5 are Kita and MJ.
Kita is a 1-year-old female Beagle/Jack Russell mix who is a super playful and high-energy girl who loves playing and jumping and playing and running and playing some more. She would love to find an active family that will take her to do fun things like hiking and chasing balls.
MJ, a senior female cat, is a sweet girl who would prefer to be the only cat in her family’s life because she is very possessive of her people. She is declawed, so she needs to be an indoor cat only.
Kita, MJ and other pets may be visited at the shelter from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays at 550 Industry Road. Cats and dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption and have been vaccinated for rabies, treated for fleas, microchipped and have had nail trims. The shelter also rehomes barn cats, livestock and other pets.
