Do the Maine Democrats have the same values as the Congressional Democrats? Are the Maine Democrats favoring sanctuary cities, open borders, a weak military, bountiful welfare programs and a universal health care system that will require heavy tax revenues?

Congressional Democrats apparently follow only one program currently, which is to block nearly every bill offered and nearly every nomination made by President Trump.

In spite of his difficult personality and the Democrat blocks, President Trump is getting the job done.

President Trump and the Congressional Republicans have initiated border control, a booming economy, better trade deals, increased national security and infrastructure improvements. The Democrats offer no improvement programs, just criticize and block President Trump.

Mychal Massie has written an essay wherein he says Trump is not a liberal or conservative, but is a pragmatist. Trump sees a problem and understands it must be fixed. He is not owned by bankers, corporations and big donors. He is free from a political ideology, which is helpful in solving issues.

Trump says what he is thinking in a straightforward manner. He uses everyday language which can be understood by all, but is offensive to some. He tries to do what he says he will do.

President Trump, Congressman Bruce Poliquin, Gov. Paul LePage and legislative Republicans all face a negative press. Positive stories are often omitted and negative stories receive the headlines. Unproven allegations receive emphasis.

Voters should evaluate what is done, rather than what is said.
