Lucas St. Clair will get my vote for Congress in the primary. Through the years, I have been impressed with his thoughtful and deliberate work with residents in the Katahdin region and with Congress to support the Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument.
I share his views on the need for economic development and job creation, good schools and conservation. He has operated a small business and understands the issues facing small business owners. He is committed to getting big money out of politics and protecting Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. He supports affordable universal health care.
I support his views on the need to ban assault rifles, bump stocks, large magazines and improved background checks.
I truly believe that when he gets to Washington, he will continue to listen to Mainers and work on their behalf.
I hope others will join me in supporting Lucas St. Clair.
