LIVERMORE FALLS — Rose J. Rivers, 88, of Livermore Falls, passed away on Thursday, March 15.
She was born in Auburn, Oct. 26, 1929, to Marguerite and Walter Jasper. She attended schools in Auburn and Canton.
She worked a variety of jobs, retiring from the shoe shop in Livermore Falls. She was married to an Army man, Richard Rivers of Norway.
She liked getting to know the different locations they were stationed, including Germany, Oklahoma and Virginia. She enjoyed watching wrestling, riding her bike and bird watching.
Rose is survived by her daughter, Roswitha; her grandchildren, Roxanne, Rebecca and Randy; and four great-grandchildren, Sal, Georgia, Eva and Eli.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Arleane, Walter Jr., Barbara and Winston.
