AUBURN — The Auxiliary to the VFW Post 1603 will serve a turkey supper from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 6, at 588 Minot Ave.

Cost is $8 per person or $4 for children 10 and younger. All proceeds to benefit needy veterans and the VFW’s Community Act.

AUBURN — A spaghetti dinner sponsored by Auxiliary Unit 153 will be served from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, April 7, at 71 South Main St.

Cost will be $8; under 10, $4. 

GRAY — A baked bean and casserole supper will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 7, hosted by American Legion Auxiliary Post 86, 15 Lewiston Road.

Pies will be the featured dessert. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for children younger than 12.

LEWISTON — The next Holy Cross Knights of Columbus “Take-Out Beans” event will support the council’s Seminarian Fund. The council is supporting two seminarians from Vietnam: Hoa Tien Nguyen and Thanh Duc Pham. The fund helps provide financial support as they continue their studies.

Beans will be available from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 7, (note the time change) at Holy Cross Church Hall, 1080 Lisbon St.

Those wishing may purchase a package special or “a la carte.” They may call in an order after noon on the day of event at 207-212-5163.

NORWAY — The Community Free Breakfast will move back to the Norway Grange, Whitman Street, for the spring and summer, beginning with the Saturday, April 7, breakfast at 8 a.m.

NORWAY — The First Universalist Church of Norway will host a traditional ham and bean supper at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 7, at the church, 479 Main St. Tickets are $10.

The menu, featuring homemade pies, will include ham, beans, salad, bread and beverages. All are welcome.

Tickets may be purchased at the church, from church members or at the door.

PARIS — A supper will be sponsored by the Paris Fire Department Auxiliary at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 7, at the Paris Fire Station Western Avenue, South Paris.

Menu will be roast pork, potatoes, veggies, bread, mac and cheese, applesauce, homemade pies and desserts.

Cost will be $8; ages 4 to 12, $4; age 3 and under, free.

SABATTUS — The Our Lady of the Rosary Parish Knights of Columbus will  host a baked beans and casserole supper from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 7, at Maxwell-Gill Hall next to Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 131 High St.

Proceeds will benefit KC charitable work, scholarships and parish programs.

Contributions are $8 for adults; $4 for children under 12.

STARKS — A potluck supper will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 7, at the Starks Town Hall to benefit Rob Sanville of Starks, who is fighting lung cancer.

Cost will be adults, $8; family of four or more, $25; age 10 and younger, free.

SUMNER — A community pork roast supper will be held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, April 7, at the Congregational Church of East Sumner. 

There will be a raffle of baked goods and household items. Proceeds will benefit the outreach mission of the church. Donations will be accepted for the meal. The church is located at 50 Main Street, Route 219, East Sumner. For more information, call Bill, 207-388-2263.

WATERFORD — A baked stuffed haddock supper will be served from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, April 7, at 5 Keezar Road Church near Melby’s Store, North Waterford. There will be homemade pies for dessert.

Cost will be $10 for adults, $5 for ages 6 to 16 and free for children 5 and younger. Proceeds will benefit the North Waterford World’s Fair.
