PLYMOUTH, Mass. — Roger J. Jalbert died suddenly on Thursday, March 29, at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth, Mass.
He was born in Lewiston on Sept. 4, 1921, the son of the late Alphonse and Clemence (Grandmaison) Jalbert. Roger attended St. Peter’s School and graduated from Lewiston High School.
He worked as a station agent for the Maine Central Railroad.
After retiring, he grew Christmas trees at the Spruce Valley Tree Farm on Webster Street.
He enjoyed spending time outside, a good hockey game and traveling throughout Canada.
Roger was a devoted family man, a loving husband to Georgette and a wonderful father to Sue.
He is survived by his daughter, Suzanne and her husband, Pasquel, and their son, Joseph.
He was predeceased by his loving wife, Georgette; his brothers, Fr. Paul, Henry, Emile, Adrien, Gerard, John, Edmond and Roland; and his sisters, Yvette Doyle and Jeanne Stevens, and her son, Charlie.
